Board Games Club, Grades 1-6
Students are invited to Board Games Club on Wednesdays, second recess. Grades 1-2 in room 106 (Mme Heidt), 3-4 in Library (Mrs Graham), 5-6 in room 122 (Mme Beatty). Students are welcome to bring in games of interest from home, or use the ones provided.

Rainbow Club
Exciting news! In order to promote an inclusive, safe, and caring environment at school, we are starting a Rainbow Club at Stonecrest E. S. This club will be a space for students in grades 5 to 8 who would like additional information or want to be an ally for those in the LGBTQ2S+ community. These clubs have been known to have a clear impact on student achievement, can assist students in having positive relationships, promote acceptance and respect, raise awareness, bullying prevention, and help support students and families.

The Ottawa Public Health- ‘Parenting in Ottawa’ Facebook page is hosting a guest from the Ottawa Bullying Prevention Coalition on Friday, November 16th to share information and great resources. Parents are able to interact on the Facebook page, access resources and ask a Nurse and or The Ottawa Bullying Prevention Coalition questions.

The SES Council manages the Lost & Found bin at Stonecrest. Lost items are photographed and posted to the SESC website. Items that are labeled are returned to their owners, and anything not claimed within two months is donated to charity.
