We are looking forward to hosting our Stonecrest Track and Field Meet this year. Students in Grades 4 - 8 will be participating on Wednesday, May 14th and Thursday, May 15th. Students in Grade 3 will only participate on Thursday, May 15th.  Students have signed up for a minimum of 4 events (2 events each day). Our rain dates will be determined as needed. 

Schedule

You will find the schedule of events in this link. All staff and students will go inside from 12:00-12:30 p.m. for a break from the sun and to eat their lunch.

Clothing

We encourage all students to dress appropriately for the weather on these days, as they will be spending the majority of their time outdoors. They need a good pair of running shoes, and comfortable clothing for the events. Sunscreen and hats are strongly recommended.

Food & Drinks

Students are encouraged to bring plenty of snacks and drinks for their day. Our School Council will be running a canteen for both days, so students are welcome to bring money to purchase a variety of food items.

Sun Shelters

To help provide shade, students can bring sun shelters or canopies. They may not have solid walls, but can have mosquito netting/screen. Shelters must be pegged to the ground, and stringed pegs must be clearly identified with a ribbon. 

Technology

As Track and Field is part of our regular school day, students will not be permitted to use cell phones. Parents and visitors are welcome to take photos and videos of their child at the various events. Please be sure to photograph your child only, as media permissions do not allow parents/guardians to photograph other children.

Parents & Visitors

Parents and caregivers are welcomed and encouraged to join us and cheer on our students. When you arrive at school, please sign in at the desk located outside by the front door of the school.  After you have signed in, please proceed around the outside of the school to the back field. We will have our outdoor bathroom open and available for our adult guests.
